Firhill Youth Project & Community Sports Hub is excited to announce that applications are now open for an artist to lead the creative strand of IGNITE, our multi‑weekend community outreach programme for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Festival.

IGNITE brings local young people together to embrace sport and contribute to something lasting within the community while working alongside a commissioned artist to co‑create a new mural at the Firhill Basin. The selected artist will design and deliver two hands‑on workshops, develop a mural informed by young people’s ideas, and paint the final artwork on our shipping container at Firhill Stadium.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys co‑creation, has experience with youth or community groups, and can deliver engaging, inclusive workshops. Applications close 30 April at 5pm.
